‘Giving Machines’ campaign helps provide items to people in. need

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has selected the Dysart Community Center as a featured nonprofit for its next “Light the World Giving Machines” campaign.

Dysart Community Center, 14414 N. El Mirage Road, El Mirage, will be part of an innovative program that places customized vending machines in high-traffic areas, allowing donors to purchase essential items, such as food, clothing, educational materials and hygiene kits, for families in need.

During the 2024 campaign, it accepted more than 490,000 donations across 107 cities in 13 countries between November and December 2024.
