Roman Kemp has revealed details about a "horrible" health battle that he described as "the worst". The 32-year-old TV host has been candid about his mental health challenges, including depression and anxiety.

He suspects that traumatic experiences - particularly losing his dear friend Joe Lyons in 2020 - have triggered his ongoing struggle with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). The One Show presenter also disclosed that he has endured panic attacks throughout his life.

Roman explained they can leave him feeling certain he is "going to die". Research suggests that at least one-third of individuals will encounter a panic attack during their lives.
