ATLANTA — Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson evaded Washington Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner after catching a 2-yard pass. Then, Robinson turned on the jets for another 67 yards.

According to Next Gen Stats , Robinson reached a career-high top speed of 21.85 mph on the play.

Unfortunately for Robinson, Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves ran 22.62 mph and tackled Robinson 7 yards short of the end zone.

"I was so mad," Robinson said. "I ain't gonna lie. Like he had an angle on me. But I saw him and was like, 'I'm gonna outrun him.' And he got my foot."

Fortunately for Atlanta, tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. scored on the very next play, one of the Falcons' four touchdowns in their 34-27 win Sunday against the Commanders at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
