A law firm is seeking to go to the U.S. Supreme Court in a case to protect public access to state court advisory meetings.

The lawsuit began back in 2022 when the Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts closed certain court advisory meetings to the public.

The firm's case was dismissed in a federal appeals court in September, pushing the group to seek a U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
