Chandigarh, September 30, 2025 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Chandigarh , has issued a rain alert for the Tricity region.

According to the IMD’s update at 9:30 pm , light rain accompanied by thunder is likely to occur over parts of Chandigarh, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Panchkula, and adjoining areas during the next 2–3 hours .

Residents have been advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
