A Glasgow street has been transported back in time to the late 19th century for the filming of a new Victorian thriller.
Filming for Jack of Spades, directed by Joel Coen, has been taking place on Cochrane Street next to Glasgow City Chambers , as horse-drawn carriages and extras were spotted by locals.
The movie, which is the director's second solo film following the release of The Tragedy of Macbeth in 2021, stars Josh O'Connor, known for his role in The Crown.
Local Shweta Jogalekar Samdadia, who captured the movie shoot from a nearby window, said: "They were filming Jack of Spades right outside my home and it honestly felt like time travel.
