RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- An incident involving police activity is causing delays on Interstate 95 in Richmond.

The incident was first reported by VDOT around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, and is located on I-95 South near the N. 7th Street exit.

According to VDOT, the left and center lanes are closed and there is currently a 2.5-mile-long backup.
