The Athletic released its postseason All-Quarter Century Team and it featured a few legendary Red Sox champions.

David Ortiz , unsurprisingly, was tabbed as the designated hitter. The National Baseball Hall of Famer became one of the best clutch hitters in baseball over the course of his career with the Red Sox.

Ortiz won three World Series with the Red Sox (’04, ‘07, ‘13). In 2004, he slashed .308/.471/.615, in 2007 he had a slash line of .333/.412/.533 and in 2013 it was.688/.
