Loveland Mayor Jacki Marsh has called for a special City Council meeting on Thursday to reconsider the fate of the city’s South Railroad Facility, which was slated to close permanently Tuesday morning.
“I do support leaving this open until we have an alternative,” Marsh said, adding that four other members also support reopening the debate. “Now the question is, do we have the votes?”
Marsh was among the small crowd gathered outside the facility’s gates Tuesday to oppose the closure. Around 40 people held signs and talked among themselves, as the guests checked out for what could have been the final time.
