The Metropolitan Park casino proposal was unanimously approved by its Community Advisory Committee on Tuesday morning. The $8 billion privately funded project will now advance in front of the Gaming Facility Location Board for the next round of approval.
Last week, Resorts World's proposal for expanding to live tables and table games was approved by its CAC.
