New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is working extensively towards retrieving the Asia Cup 2025 trophy from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi.

Unprecedented scenes unfolded at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium following India’s win over Pakistan in the final, when the Indian cricketers refused to accept the trophy from Naqvi on the podium. Naqvi, who is also a Minister in Pakistan’s government, astonishingly responded by deciding to take the trophy and winners’ medals to his hotel room.

With no trophy to celebrate with, the Indian team had to celebrate their Asia Cup triumph empty-handed .
