Motorists are facing disruption after a lorry crashed and spilled a “shed load of wood” onto the M8.

Police Scotland said the collision was reported at around 5.30pm at junction 22 eastbound near the M77.

Westbound traffic is partially restricted while the M77 is also closed northbound on approach to the M8.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area while the emergency services deal with the incident.

Traffic Scotland said the lorry crash led to it dropping a “shed load of wood” onto the road and warned of “severe delays on all routes”.
