The FedExCup Fall continues this week after a break for the Ryder Cup with the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship at the Country Club of Jackson in Mississippi. The first round begins on Thursday morning. Below, we look at Sanderson Farms Championship odds from BetMGM Sportsbook's odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions.
Akshay Bhatia (+1600), Davis Thompson (+2000) and Min Woo Lee (+2000) are the headliners in this field, along with defending champion Kevin Yu (+2800). With the top players taking the fall off until the 2026 season begins, there aren't as many stars teeing it up, but Max Homa (+4000) is in the field and trying to gain some momentum leading into next season.
The Country Club of Jackson (par 72) is 7,461 yards long, giving big hitters an advantage because of the minimal penalties when ending up in the rough. Since 2014 when this course began hosting the Sanderson Farms Championship, the winning score has been between 16-under and 23-under par each year; Yu won at 23-under last season.

Michael Thorbjornsen (+2200)
Thorbjornsen could be poised for a big fall season against slightly weaker fields as he tries to emerge as the bright young star many expect him to become. He finished eighth here last year in his tournament debut and could improve on that finish this week now that he's gained some additional experience.
Kevin Yu (+2800)
Yu finished 19th in 2022, missed the cut in 2023 and then won here last year, showing he has the chops to win in Jackson. His length off the tee is a huge advantage and with the rough being minimally penalizing, he can afford to go bombs away all week.
Sanderson Farms Championship picks – Contenders
Stephan Jaeger (+6600)
Jaeger added some length over the last few years and that bodes well for his chances in Jackson. His best finish was in 2018 when he finished 14th, but he's finished between 23rd and 30th in each of his last 4 starts here.
Cameron Champ (+5000)
Champ was the 2018 champion at this event, using his distance to give himself short approaches into the greens. His chances this week could come down to whether he putts well or not because he's going to hit a bunch of greens regardless of whether he has to hit approaches from the fairways or rough.
Patrick Fishburn (+5000)
Fishburn is 49th in strokes gained: off the tee and 53rd in driving distance, so while he's not a bomber, he is above average. In his debut here last year, he finished 48th.
Sanderson Farms Championship picks – Long shots
Henrik Norlander (+10000)
Norlander is a horse at the CC of Jackson, finishing second in 2023 and fourth in both 2020 and 2021. Last year, he came in 28th, which was his worst finish since missing the cut in 2019.
Seamus Power (+8000)
Power is another player who's had success here, coming in 11th last year and 30th in 2022; he skipped the event in 2023. He could use a strong fall heading into the 2026 season and this is a golden opportunity at a course he loves.
