COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its updated football playoff ratings ahead of Week 7.

The top 12 teams in each region will qualify for the playoffs with the top four receiving first-round byes. It is a change the OHSAA made for this season , reducing each regional field from 16 teams.

Once the playoffs begin, the No. 1 seeds will play the No. 8 vs. 9 winners. No. 2 will play No. 7 or No. 10. No. 3 will play No. 6 or No. 11 and No. 4 will play No. 5 or No. 12.
