The Montgomery Police Department is celebrating the promotion of dozens of officers.

At a ceremony at the Church of the Highlands this morning, 26 officers were promoted to the ranks of corporal, sergeant and lieutenant.

In addition, the department’s new Chief of Staff, Ettice Brickus, was sworn in.
