Autumn puts on an incredible show in Western New York .

To celebrate, Ellicottville — one of Upstate’s most charming communities — throws a two-day party every October to honor fall’s bountiful beauty. And now, the event dubbed “Western New York’s favorite Fall event” has earned national recognition.

Ellicottville’s Fall Festival has been named one of the best fall festivals and fairs in America by Country Living .

The event shared space on the list of what the magazine called “the country’s best autumnal events” with 14 other festivals, including the Warrens Cranberry Festival in Wisconsin and the RISE Lantern Festival near Las Vegas.

The 2025 edition of Ellicottville’s Fall Festival will take place from Saturday, Oct. 11, to Sunday, Oct. 12.
