Hulu ’s “Mid-Century Modern” will not be returning for Season 2. On Monday, series co-creator Max Mutchnick announced on Instagram that the streamer had cancelled the show after one season.
“Ten great episodes… Not enough. But we loved making every single one of them. We’re gonna miss our very special show. Thanks to everyone who watched,” wrote Mutchnick.
Starring Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, and Nathan Lee Graham, “Mid-Century Modern” follows three gay men and best friends of different ages in the ‘80s, who decide to retire together to Palm Springs after an accidental death. It’s often been referred to as the “Gay Golden Girls.”
