New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) raised a strong objection against Pakistan at the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) AGM in Dubai on Tuesday over India not being given the trophy after Asia Cup triumph.

After the Men in Blue retained the continental cup with a 5-wicket victory over the Men in Green on Sunday, India refused to collect the prestigious silverware from the PCB chief and ACC head Mohsin Naqvi. What followed was that the trophy was taken by Naqvi in his custody and finally handed over to the organisers with the champions being denied the silverware.
