New Delhi: Marking the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Kanchi Peeth Shankaracharya Ji and veteran leader Karan Singh extended their greetings while recalling the organisation’s journey and influence over the past hundred years.

Shankaracharya Ji said that the vision of Akhand Bharat was nurtured by many devotees and that the formation of the Sangh in Nagpur in 1925 by Dr. K.B. Hedgewar was a milestone in this direction. “The culture of Bharat is rooted in civilisation, peace, development and selfless service. What began then has now completed 100 years, and in 2025, the Sangh is celebrating its centenary,” he said.
