HOLLAND, Mich. — It may not feel like it, but we are only a couple of months away from the winter season.
And this year, the city of Holland will debut a new ice-skating rink that is 90 years in the making.
“We like to do things the right way here in Holland. And I think this project is really doing that,” said Dan Van Dyken. "We've actually been talking about ice rink in downtown Holland for about 90 years, going all the way back to Lida Rogers and Tulip Time."
Holland Assistant City Manager Dan Van Dyken gave 13 ON YOUR SIDE an inside look at the new ice-skating rink as construction begins to be completed.
The skating rink will be located near the Window on the Waterfront, and it will be the largest ribbon ice-skating rink in the state that will offer ice skating, curling, fire
