CINCINNATI —

A new retro-inspired cocktail bar and dance hall is set to open in Over-the-Rhine, inside the former Drinkery space.

The project has been in the works for a while, with The Drinkery closing in 2023 to rebrand to Nice Life. They initially opened as "The Setback" as they continued construction work.

The Setback closed in June to make way for full renovations.

Nice Life, brought to life by Cincinnati-based hospitality company Four Entertainment Group, will have a retro-theme inspired by styles from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

In addition to a 50-seat bar area, there will be a giant dance floor complete with a gold disco ball, vibrant lighting and a speed bar.
