[LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A Lafayette woman is in custody following a traffic stop on State Road 25.

Indiana State Police said Laura Brooks, 35, was driving north when a state trooper noticed she was having trouble staying in her lane.

The trooper eventually pulled her over and noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the car. Upon searching the car, he found marijuana, pills, and drug paraphernalia.

Troopers also learned that Brooks had multiple active warrants for her arrest in Howard, Huntington, and Tippecanoe counties.
