A Guilford County Sherriff's deputy was charged with driving while impaired and failing to report an accident on Sunday, court records show.

Demetris Rashaun Farrow's blood alcohol level was .15, nearly two times the legal limit of .08, according to an arrest warrant.

The Guilford County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Farrow's arrest.

According to an arrest warrant, the deputy was driving on West Wendover Avenue and hit a guardrail at the West Wendover and West Friendly Avenue exit. The car went off the ramp, and hit a guardrail, the warrant said.

No one was injured in the wreck.
