Starbucks has closed its store at 1603-A Battleground Ave. in Greensboro as part of a national restructuring plan expected to reduce its number of total stores by about 1% by the end of the fiscal year.

The store at 1603-A Battleground is the only Triad store affected by the restructuring. But closings were announced in a handful of other N.C. cities, including Charlotte, Raleigh and Durham.

Greensboro still has about two dozen Starbucks locations, including those inside such stores as Harris Teeter and Target.
