OREM, Utah (ABC4) — The family of a ninth grader who lost their son to a self inflicted gunshot wound on a field trip is now raising awareness to provide hope and light to those struggling, especially young teens.
The Miller family shared a joint statement with ABC4 with the hope their story can help those struggling, especially young teens.
Miller Family Statement We are heartbroken over the loss of our beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend.
We want every teen to know: it’s okay to struggle, it’s okay to not be perfect, and it’s okay to talk about hard things. There are always people—family, friends, teachers, church leaders—who would do anything to help, listen, and support you. If you are hurting, please reach out.
