INDIANA, Pa. —
A lucky lottery player at a Sheetz store in western Pennsylvania bought a $20 scratch-off ticket that revealed a $1 million prize.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a winning ticket in the Millionaire Loading game was sold at Sheetz on Ben Franklin Road in White Township, Indiana County. Advertisement
The store will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
In its announcement, the lottery said, "Scratch-Offs are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold. The Lottery learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed."
