The complicated planning history of an empty gravel site with a stone wall across the street from The Old Winery Restaurant has a new chapter to be reviewed.

Hummel Properties Inc. has applied to modify its approved draft plan of condominium to add three additional units to its original residential application, for a total of nine condominium residences on the 0.77-hectare site on Niagara Stone Road.

Jennifer Vida, director of development and project administrator at Hummel Properties, said during a Sept. 29 virtual open house, the “market (for residential units) has changed significantly,” so the developer has added three more condominiums to the six on the irregular-shaped property that have already been approved for the location at 2203 Niagara Stone Rd.
