LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A continuation of warm and mainly dry weather is expected as we begin a new month. Look for highs each day to make it into the 80s while overnight lows also stay above-average...mainly in the 50s and 60s. While a shower or two will be possible in some areas on Wednesday...most of 10-11 Country will be dry with temperatures returning to the 80s. On Thursday...and especially on Friday...some spots will make a run at 90°...well-above the seasonal averages for early-October which run in the low-to-mid 70s. There will also be a small chance for precipitation later Friday night and into Saturday...with a little better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. Heading into next week...look for a pattern change as temperatures cool back to more seasonal levels and rain
Wednesday Forecast: More summer-like weather as we begin October...
