NEW DELHI: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will complete 100 years tomorrow, on Vijayadashami. As part of the centenary celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at a function today at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi. He will release a special postal stamp and coin on the occasion. RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale will also be present.
The RSS was founded on Vijayadashami day, September 27, 1925. The centenary celebrations will begin tomorrow and continue until Vijayadashami next year. On the occasion, Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat will address RSS workers from the organisation’s headquarters in Nagpur.
As part of the 100th year programs, Hindu gatherings will be held across 58,964 mandals and 44,055 bastis under the organisation. Social
