LOGAN — Law enforcement is investigating a bomb threat Tuesday at Utah State University. Old Main was evacuated just before 2:45 p.m. after a suspicious package was found.

USU spokesperson Amanda DeRito said police responded to Old Main due to the suspicious package. People inside the building were instructed to leave immediately using the nearest exit and take only essential items.

Police set up a perimeter around the building and closed off Champ Drive.

DeRito said law enforcement is investigating.
