BARRINGTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Barrington Police Department said it is reminding students to “think twice before they post” after a social media prank.

On Sept. 23, police were made aware of an Instagram account identified as “thebarringtonpisser,” which “contained short video clips depicting what appeared to be a person urinating in public spaces” and private spaces.

Police received another message through social media on Sept. 28 regarding a TikTok account identified as “barringtonpisser.”

Police said the TikTok account had similar videos to the Instagram account, which included a video taken inside the Barrington High School.

On Sept. 29, police said a Barrington High School student admitted to the student resource officer that they posted the videos on social media.
