GLEN BURNIE, Md. —
A man who cared for his mother before her death is turning his pain into purpose.
At 24, Joshua Huff-Edsall became the caretaker for his mother, Anita, until she died in July at age 61.
"She was at Howard County General, then moved to Johns Hopkins, and then they placed her in a home while I was trying to get her disability. And then, I had to figure out the whole, 'What's going on? What's dementia? What's aphasia? What's Lewy body?'" Huff-Edsall told 11 News.
