Several people are shocked and some are even laughing in disbelief by what I pull out of my bag: a set of the original Loop earplugs from several years ago that have since been discontinued. As someone who grew up surrounded by large speakers thanks to majoring in music in high school (shout out to performing arts schools) and a long "career" singing in choirs, always having ear protection at concerts and other loud venues was always important to me. So when Loop started to explode on the internet for being the fraction of the price of the custom earplugs I was looking at, I knew I had to try them. Jump a few years later and I'm suddenly in Belgium, the home country of Loop and its creators, to test out their products at full-force.
