LEESVILLE, La. (KALB) - Vernon Parish’s newly started economic development district is laying out new plans to spur industrial growth throughout the parish by shifting priorities away from previous plans.
In an official meeting convened at the Vernon Parish Police Jury building on September 29, the Vernon Parish Economic Development District discussed the potential re-prioritization of its economic corridor plans from emphasizing “walking communities” to energy-focused industrial growth.
