MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police have made an arrest in connection to the shooting of a 19-year-old .
Officers were called on Sept. 12 at 4:11 p.m. to a UW Health Clinic for a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound.
Police learned the victim and suspects had a prearranged plan to meet near the 2100 block of E. Main St.
During that encounter, the 19-year-old was shot and required hospitalization.
On Tuesday, MPD's Violent Crime Unit (VCU), Gang Neighborhood Crime Abatement Team (GNCAT), and Special Weapons And Tactics Team (SWAT) served search warrants in the 200 block of Bunting Lane and the 3600 Block of Elliot Lane.
A 16-year-old was arrested for first-degree reckless injury and armed robbery.
Police had been looking for suspects who were involved in the crime. The investigation is on
