IOWA CITY — Iowa offensive coordinator Tim Lester met with the media on Tuesday and shared the latest on injured quarterback Mark Gronowski.
Lester, who, along with defensive coordinator Phil Parker and special teams coordinator LeVar Woods, traditionally holds press conferences during the Hawkeyes’ bye week, offered little in the way of concrete news about the program’s starting quarterback.
“The encouraging news is they, all those guys who are banged up, are going into a bye week,” Lester said. “… All injured players are working hard to get back. We don’t know Mark’s status yet.
