HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A woman is accused of setting a home on fire last Thursday after witnesses said she was "irate" when the man who owned the home, her ex, did not go with her to a concert.
Amy Beth Taylor is charged with first-degree arson. Court documents show deputies responded to a residential fire call on September 25 on Peek Road to find flames coming from the home.
According to the affidavit, witnesses told authorities that Taylor had arrived at a property on Peek Road, which was owned by her ex, and walked into a shed where they were sitting. The witnesses claimed she was irate because her ex did not go to a concert with her the previous night.
Witnesses then said she threatened to burn down the shed and the home on the property before walking out. The affidavit said that
