The Cleveland Browns are set to make a switch at quarterback and hand the reins to rookie Dillon Gabriel after the team opened 1-3 with veteran Joe Flacco as the starting QB.

At least, that’s the expectation , CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported Tuesday.

If the change comes to fruition, it would mark the first NFL start for Gabriel, 24, who starred for the Oregon Ducks last season before the Browns selected him in the third round of April’s draft.

Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com reported that the QB announcement could come Wednesday, before the team departs for London ahead of a Sunday matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, or even Tuesday if the quarterbacks are informed of the move.
