Walmart announced it is closing one of its stores located in Federal Way.
The Walmart, along with its adjoining pharmacy, on S. 314th Street in Federal Way will shutter its doors on Oct. 31.
The approximate 250 people who are employed at that location will be eligible to transfer to another Walmart, the company announced. The closest remaining Walmart locations are supercenter stores on 16th Avenue S. in Federal Way and on Outlet Collection Way in Auburn.
None of the other 63 Walmart locations in Washington are expected to close.
