ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced that millions of dollars in federal funding will be given to Georgia for Hurricane Helene recovery.

On Tuesday, the USDA and Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J. Harper announced that the state will receive about $531,236,000 through the Hurricane Helene Block Grant Program. The money will cover future economic, infrastructure and timber losses caused by the storm.
