JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) - First responders will practice responding to an active shooter situation at Jackson College this week.
Multiple first responding agencies are set to practice active shooter responses on Oct. 1, 2 and 3 at Jackson College’s Central Campus.
First responders will train in simulated emergency scenarios set up inside Jackson College buildings.
Residents may see a large first responder presence, including emergency vehicles, tactical gear and simulated gunfire.
Part of campus may be blocked off for training.
