MAYFIELD, Ky. (WSIL) -- A fire broke out at the Hampton Inn in Mayfield on Tuesday afternoon.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office reported multiple fire departments, including Mayfield Fire and Mayfield Graves County Fire and Rescue, responded to the scene.

Flames were visible from one of the top floors of the hotel.

By 5:19 p.m., fire crews remained on site as they continued to investigate the cause of the fire.
