A local Walmart warehouse is credited with an unwanted and witting cameo in a pricy TV heist.

The retail kingpin played the part of the victim of a high-def conspiracy scheme that included two truckers who picked up 1,872 flat-screens valued at $260,000 from the Lowcountry and drove them nearly 1,400 miles to south Texas instead of their original destinations.

The details of the plot emerged during the prosecution of Gurvinder Singh , a driver who agreed to transport half of the absconded TVs after they arrived in the Lone Star State while knowing the merchandise was hot, according to his guilty plea.
