COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS) honored 61 graduates from its Day Reporting Centers (DRCs) this month, marking a milestone in recovery and accountability.
Ceremonies were held in Albany, Columbus, and Lawrenceville during September’s National Recovery Month, which recognizes millions of Americans in recovery while promoting treatment, support, and reducing stigma.
The DRC program operates at 35 sites across Georgia, offering counseling, treatment, and structured accountability to help people under supervision succeed.
“This graduation is a reminder that change is possible when people are given the tools and support to succeed,” said Felicia Jones, Columbus DRC Center Administrator.
