TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said it is investigating the head of the City of Tampa's code enforcement, who also happens to be the husband of Tampa’s former top cop.

The city said it has since placed Keith O’Connor on paid administrative leave.

On Aug. 28, Tampa Police arrested Aubrey Pierce, 41, for felony charges that include: bribery by a public servant, unlawful disposal of hazardous waste, violation of Florida litter law, and grand theft third degree.
