NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) — It appears Judge Judy is no longer a Rhode Island resident.

The beloved television personality and retired judge first bought the "Bird House" on Beacon Hill Road in Newport for $9 million back in July 2018.

But city property records reveal Judy Sheindlin and her husband Jerry sold their mansion for $15.3 million to Sea Spray LLC.

The home has six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. It features a two-story entrance hall, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace in the living room, panoramic coastline views and lush gardens.

The "Bird House" was built in 2012 on the former Arthur Curtiss James estate and originally belonged to the late Campbell Soup heiress Dorrance Hill Hamilton.
