The Ballenas Whalers kicked off their BC Secondary Schools Football Association 2025-26 campaign with an impressive 58-0 win over Sullivan Heights Stars at Cloverdale Athletic Park on Sept. 26.

The senior varsity Whalers dominated from start to finish offensively and defensively to score their first conference win.

Quarterback Tyler Robinson paced the Whalers with five touchdown passes, going 11-for-14 for 145 yards through the air.

Running back Spencer Jordan carried the ball eight times for 60 yards, scoring two touchdowns, while Riley Wilson and Rowan Hoop each had two receiving TDs. The towering Noah Silzer also caught an 8-yard touchdown.
