SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A quiet forecast ahead as high pressure continues to hold strong across the ArkLaTex.

For tonight, any lingering clouds will quickly clear out with temperatures falling into the low and mid 60s.

Sunshine returns in full force on Wednesday and as a result, temperatures will climb into the low 90s by afternoon. Even though it will be a warmer day, humidity will stay low making it feel more comfortable.

For the rest of the week and into the weekend, no major changes are on the horizon. Other than a few passing clouds, it stays quiet with no hope for any rainfall. Temperatures will remain above average with highs most days in the low 90s.

Have a great night!
