SHREVEPORT, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — The Mudbugs have hit the ice.
The Mudbugs have picked up three wins so far this season, getting back on track this past weekend in Minneapolis. But the team has allowed its opponents to score at least three goals in every game but two.
Head coach Jason Campbell wants more from the defense.
"We need to tighten it up," Campbell said. "I feel like we should be able to win games 1-0, 2-1, 3-2. I don't like giving up any more than two goals if we don't have to."
It's not just about playing better defensively, but opening up opportunities on offense as well.
"I think as long as our goaltenders are on point, we should be on point in front of them and try to try to keep the pucks away from them as much as possible," Campbell said. "I'd like to see us play more con
