EAST POINT, GA—Over 600 metro Atlanta jobseekers attended Microsoft’s networking event at the Impact Event Center in East Point. The job fair offering opportunities in tech, construction, and logistics positions.

Hosted through a collaboration between MWI Workforce Institute and Microsoft, the Sept. 26 event resulted in more than 100 on-site hires and scheduled interviews, with additional participants connected to human resources teams, training opportunities, and upskilling resources, event officials said.

The event featured resume coaching, interview strategies, and direct networking with employers and Microsoft hiring managers. Attendees also participated in a Datacenter 101 workshop, designed to introduce jobseekers to one of the fastest-growing fields supporting the digital economy.
